LVEA in Action Winter 2006

Letter from the Director:
Hello again and Seasons Greetings! This year has flown by! From Jeannette’s retirement, my position of Executive Director, my new child this year has been full of surprises and wonders. I would like to thank all of the people who have helped me along and made this last few months at LVEA wonderful. This community really opened its arms to me at my (relatively) new position as Director.
I have big plans for 2007 and LVEA. Starting with:
*Helping Jamie Mills and NWPA with their 2007 Ag Expo January 19-20.
*March will welcome National Ag Week 19-23. Juliette Taylor (CEDA) and I are planning many events throughout the valley. Events for producers, school children, county and city residents, anyone with an interest in celebrating Agriculture! Although we need help! Please call me with any ideas or support you can provide me on this. I hope to make it a yearly event with community wide support.
Please enjoy your new year and I hope that you will continue to support and participate in the LVEA. Through working groups, community events and local organizations we can preserve and support this, our Lahontan Valley.
I truly hope to see you all in the next year. Please use me and the LVEA as tools to help you and your family succeed.

Wishing you a Productive New Year!

                   Sincerely,

                   Erica Behimer
